Outdoor First Aid

Fun, friendly and practical 4-hour course covering first aid for all age groups - from babies to adults. Major focus is placed on outdoor-related injuries, ensuring you are ready to help should any first aid be required during your family trips out. This course is very practical and involves lots of fun doing bandages, slings and immobilising! Gain confidence in life saving skills and learn how to help with most common outdoor injuries and conditions.

Course content:

  • Calling for help in the outdoors

  • Unconscious baby, child and adult

  • Resuscitation and CPR for baby, child and adult

  • Choking of baby, child and adult

  • Seizures in adults and children

  • Fractures, sprains and strains

  • Embedded objects

  • Bleeding, cuts and wounds

  • Bites and stings

  • Burns

  • Shock

  • Head injuries

  • Spinal injuries

  • Hypothermia and heat stroke

  • Many other outdoor-related conditions
